June 27 ~ Gypsy Fusion Show at Bothell Country Village. Melody and Gilana will be performing at this show!! 1:00 start time and totally free to the public!! Feel free to spend your coin enjoying Henna painting, persue the Turkish jewelry, opulent costumes and furnishings. Then snuggle down for a seat to watch the show. Also at Bothell Country Village; over 40 shops and restaurants clustered among landscaped gardens, ponds, wandering paths, picnic and play areas. 23718 Bothell Everett Highway. Two miles north of downtown Bothell on Satate Route 527. July 4 ~ Emerald Rain Bellydance Co. will be taking part in the 2009 Everett Fourth of July Parade! Come join us along the parade route in downtown Everett. Zagareet for your favorite style of bellydance; Caberet, Gypsy, Tribal, Gothic.... swords, veils, zills, what better way to celebrate our nations birthday!!! July 18 ~ Melody will be giving a workshop "The Art of the Sword" at BELLYDANCE IN THE PARK in downtown Sweethome, OR. Also performances by Melody, Mecia, Azida and Emerald Raindrops. This event is sponsored by Gypsy Circle!!! August 15 ~ Coffee, Tea or Emerald Rain!!! 7:00pm at our favorite coffee shop and bookstore A Gathering Grove. Near the corner of Hewitt Ave. and Oakes St. Just kitty-corner from the Comcast Areana (Everett Events Center), northwest corner. August 29 ~ Emerald Rain will be in Ellensburg, WA. to help Retro Raqs Belly Dance raise money for ASPEN, a domestic violence support network in the Ellensburg community. October 31 ~ Gilana will be sponsoring Electic Oasis Spooktacular along with Halima in Tacoma, WA. Workshop teachers will include Melody, Magidah of Portland, OR. and Rocksteady Eddie of Seattle, WA. November 19 ~ Melody and Gilana leave for Bellydance Nationals. Wish us luck while we represent the West Coast on the East Coast!
